1. Prioritize safety above all else. It is crucial to wear helmets, and depending on the chosen route, it is advisable to wear body armor.
2. Stay hydrated. Remember to bring an ample supply of water for your journey.
3. Carry maps, which can be obtained at the Valemount Visitor Centre and other local businesses. Additionally, bring a GPS device to track your trails in real time. You can download a Bike Park map from our website.
4. Pack a kit containing tools, spare tubes, and first aid supplies.
5. Be prepared for sudden changes in weather and dress appropriately.
6. Help preserve the cleanliness of our valley. Please ensure that you take back everything you bring, including snack and beverage containers.
7. Avoid approaching or feeding wildlife. Give the animals you encounter plenty of space and follow bear safety guidelines.
8.Choose the right time to go. Plan your rides from early to mid-May until the onset of snowfall in mid-to-late October.
