1. Prioritize safety above all else. It is crucial to wear helmets, and depending on the chosen route, it is advisable to wear body armor.
2. Stay hydrated. Remember to bring an ample supply of water for your journey.
3. Carry maps, which can be obtained at the Valemount Visitor Centre and other local businesses. Additionally, bring a GPS device to track your trails in real time. You can download a Bike Park map from our website.
4. Pack a kit containing tools, spare tubes, and first aid supplies.
5. Be prepared for sudden changes in weather and dress appropriately.
6. Help preserve the cleanliness of our valley. Please ensure that you take back everything you bring, including snack and beverage containers.
7. Avoid approaching or feeding wildlife. Give the animals you encounter plenty of space and follow bear safety guidelines.
8. Choose the right time to go. Plan your rides from early to mid-May until the onset of snowfall in mid-to-late October.

Great place to stay when visiting the bike park in Valemount. Very accommodating with really safe bike lockers. The hotel is located next to the Cranberry Marsh which is nice for walking. You can also ride to the bike park easily by going along the edge of the marsh.

While the hotel does not operate its own shuttle, we are the preferred lodging partner for many riders using Peak Shuttles. We are located just 2km from the main staging area, making it a quick 5-minute drive or a 10-minute warm-up pedal.

Yes! As noted by our guests, you can easily pedal to the bike park by following the edge of the Cranberry Marsh, located right next to the hotel. It’s a scenic, flat warm-up that avoids the main highway and connects you to the staging area.

If you are heading out before the Summit Grill opens for the full breakfast buffet, let our front desk know the night beforewe can help you coordinate a quick "grab-and-go" to ensure you’re fueled up before the first shuttle.
Yes. Guests can access our on-site coin-operated laundry facilities, located on the first floor (opposite the pool). It costs $5 per load to wash and $5 to dry. To help you pack light, we also provide a wall of complimentary boot and gear dryers in the laundry area, so you never have to start a morning session with damp equipment.
As a condition of use of the Valemount Bike Park and associated trails/facilities, the user assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including but not limited to: the risks, dangers, and hazards of riding a mountain bike, hiking or other recreational activities; the use of the Valemount Bike Park and associated trails; collision or impact with natural or man-made objects or with other persons; slips, trips and falls; or negligence or breach of statutory duty of care on the park of the operators. The rider agrees that the Valemount Bike Park operator shall not be liable for any such personal injury, death or property loss and releases the Valemount Bike Park Operator and waives all claims with respect thereto.
The Valemount Bike Park Operator’s liability is excluded by these conditions.
