Alpenglow 100: Valemount’s Ultimate Trail Race Dates: July 3 – 5, 2026

Best Western Plus Valemount is proud to be the Official Host Hotel for the 2026 Alpenglow 100.
Designed by Gary Robbins, this sold-out event takes runners through the high alpine of the Canadian Rockies with breathtaking views of Mount Robson.

Race Stats & Highlights:
- Epic Elevation: Climbs ranging from 1,700 m to 4,800 m (15,750 ft).
- The Views: Summits of McKirdy & Swift Mountains (2,300 m+ elevation).
- Night Start: 100 km runners start Friday at 8:30 pm under the stars.
- Post-Race: Festivities, live music, and food on Sunday.

Start Times:
Kids - Fri July 3 @ 5:00 pm
100km - Fri July 3 @ 8:30 pm - 24.5 hours cutoff
65km - Sat July 4 @ 6:00 am - 15 hours cutoff
38km - Sat July 4 @ 9:00 am - 12 hours cutoff
*all races conclude at 9:00 pm Sat night*
Pre-Race Briefing:
Mandatory for all races: 15 minutes before each start

Friday: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- all runners bib pick up and race check in.
- 100 km runners are required to pick up bibs at host hotel prior to 7:00 pm on Friday night.
- Please note there will be no race startline bib pickups in the 100 km distance.
