The Cranberry Lounge is reopening as your cozy après-adventure retreat, a fireside spot to warm up with a smooth whisky, a handcrafted winter cocktail or a glass of local B.C. wine after a day in the snow, giving guests a relaxed place to unwind and enjoy that true Valemount winter comfort.
The Cranberry Lounge is located inside the Best Western Plus Valemount. Head in through the main hotel doors and walk through the lobby. The lounge opens up into our beautiful sunny atrium.
After a long day of travel, we wanted nothing more than a nice dinner and a drink. To our surprise we got so much more! From the welcome at the door, we were treated as if we were the most important priority of the day. We received tremendous service from Samantha, who offered the specials of the day, took our order, delivered our drinks, and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed...

Pick-Up at Summit Grill: Order online and swing by the Summit Grill to grab your meal. Hot, fresh dishes are ready when you are. It’s quick, convenient, and perfect for families, couples, or anyone who wants an easy night in.
Grab & Go: Need food for the trail, slopes, or road? Choose a meal with a sandwich, chips, a granola or chocolate bar, and a drink. Simple, filling, and ready when you are.
How it works: Online ordering opens at 5 pm every day. Pick the time that works for you, then stop by the Summit Grill to pick it up. Great for snowmobilers, hikers, bikers, and road-trippers.
..We ordered French onion soup to start and the 1/2 rack of ribs meal; that came with mashed potatoes and the best corn bread we have ever had! Before we knew it our meal was being served. The soup was perfectly made and delicious and the ribs were excellent. Thank you Summit Grill for being a needed oasis at the end of our day; such an incredible view of the beautiful Rockies from your windows. You clearly focus on creating a relaxing atmosphere, serving fabulous food and for putting together an incredible team, which includes Samantha, who focus on all the right things. Well done, we look forward to our next visit and to recommending the Summit Grill to others.
